Accommodation

 

Aussie Wanderer accommodations includes hostels, farms, cattle stations, camp sites, swags, pop up dome tents and large Eco Safari Tents in Karijini Eco Retreat. All the accommodation on our tours is based on 4-12 bed dorm style. There are Single, Double and Twin upgrades available and need to be booked at the time of tour booking (at own expense/subject to availability). Private rooms come with shared facilities.

 

Meals

 

Meals are prepared fresh each day, hot and cold lunches, hot dinners with salads and vegetables, continental style breakfasts. Vegetarian, gluten free catered for. Please advise when booking (surcharge applies for gluten free only). Water and snacks are provided in all vehicles.

 

Free Pick Up & Drop Off  

 

Wellington Street Tourist Coach Stand in Perth city centre, outside the central bus and train station or from city backpackers and hotels by request (please advise when booking).

 

Luggage Restrictions
 
Due to the nature of extended touring strict luggage restrictions apply.
Day Tours: small carry on bag.
Extended tours: Soft Bag no heavier than 15kg + small carry on bag.
 

Broome to Darwin and Reverse - Soft Bag no heavier than 15kg + small carry on bag. Strictly no Suit Cases. Greyhound Australia offer luggage forwarding services from Broome to Darwin and reverse. Please see www.greyhoundfreight.com.au for more information.

 

Aussie Wanderer Tours Pty Ltd cannot be held liable for any damage caused to luggage that does not meet the above criteria.

 
What to Bring

 

Aussie Wanderer provides all the food, equipment and expertise you need to have a great trip. However, there are a few small things we can recommend to make your trip more enjoyable.

 

Day Tours: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bathers, towel, warm clothing and rain jacket (winter), water bottle (1L), camera with LOTS of memory and battery.

 

Extended Tours: hat, sunglasses, bathers, 2 towels, water bottle (1L), sunscreen, insect repellent, small torch, warm clothing and rain jacket (winter), sturdy walking shoes, camera with LOTS of memory and battery, sleeping bag (Perth to Broome and Broom to Darwin Reverse tour only). Sleeping bag purchase for $20 available on the day, please notify when booking.

 

 

Jump On Jump Off (JOJO)

 

Want to volunteer with the dolphins in Monkey Mia or spend some more time relaxing in Coral Bay? Aussie Wanderer is happy for you to Jump On and Jump Off (JOJO) at any of the following destinations: Kalbarri, Monkey Mia, Coral Bay, Exmouth, Broome, Albany, Augusta. Please advise us if you wish to JOJO when making your booking. Aussie Wanderer allows a maximum of 2 weeks Jump Off and one JOJO location per tour. Unfortunately we cannot allow changes to your booking once on tour. Extra nights’ accommodation are at own expense.

 
Charters

 

Aussie Wanderer suits any personalized tour idea for group tours or charters. Our vehicle fleet range in size from comfortable and modern 13 seater Toyota Hiace Commuter busses, our larger 21 seater Toyota Coaster busses, a selection of larger busses up to 35 seats and we’re expanding our fleet as we speak.

 

We can also provide airport transfers, catering and inclusive activities.
